Dedicated to safety: Logistics Manager Eric Bush’s 30+ years in corrections
After more than 30 years and counting in corrections, STVS Logistics Manager Eric Bush has not forgotten what gets him out of bed in the morning – besides “coffee, of course.”
“I have always viewed our job as providing safety on three distinct levels: Safety for the community, safety for our staff, and safety for the inmates under our charge. All of which are accomplished by helping customers ensure adherence to facility security standards that reduces the introduction of contraband to mitigate risk and liability”
Bush speaks from experience. Prior to joining STVS in November 2023, Bush had a distinguished career with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC). Most recently, he served as the Deputy Warden for Operations at the Clearfield County Jail in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, Bush served as Superintendent of the State Correctional Institution at Pine Grove Pa – a maximum security facility. Over his more than 30 years in Corrections, Bush held the positions of Corrections Officer, Corrections Counselor, Unit Manager, Classification and Program Manager, Staff Assistant to the Deputy Secretary, and Deputy Superintendent. He also served 23 years in the PA Army National Guard.
At STVS, Bush works with corrections and rehabilitation centers nationwide to ensure successful deployment, service, and ongoing support.
“When you call STVS, you speak to someone who has experience developing contraband screening programs – from budgeting to deployment and ongoing service. That experience, combined with our comprehensive training and service programs, is what sets STVS apart.”
